THE ART OF DATA: REIMAGING CREATIVE PROCESSES WITH DATA CULTURE: There often exists a disconnect between artistic creativity and data intelligence. Creatives, who focus on subconscious intuition and artistic expression, may perceive data as a constraint rather than an enabler. So how do you bring data culture to creativity? This talk presents strategies and examples on how to bridge this gap and foster a culture where data fuels artistic creativity rather than stifles it.

The session will focus on the challenges, such as the perception of data as a limitation, lack of data literacy among creatives, and communication barriers between data professionals and creatives; strategies for empowerment like demonstrating the value of data output and input, fostering data literacy, cultivating a culture of collaboration, the application of data storytelling and an embrace of multi-modality, as well as expected outcomes including increased data usage and product adoption, enhanced and impactful creativity, improved decision-making and stronger collaboration.

By addressing challenges and implementing the proposed strategies, organizations can empower creatives to become data users, leading to a more data-driven culture, where data and creativity work hand-in-hand to drive innovation and success.
